As Boko Haram continues to wage war on the citizens of Borno State, killing scores of innocent people, including 30 travelers that were killed in Auno-Maiduguri road in a night bomb attack while they slept in their cars.

Yesterday, President Buhari paid a sympathy visit to Borno state where he promised to improve the security of the country. He was booed by the citizens of the state who chanted “we do not want you.”

Barely hours after President Buhari left Borno, another attack by Boko Haram was launched, with several bomb blasts rocking a village in the outskirt of Maiduguri.

Fed up with the attacks, Nigerians are now asking President Muhammadu Buhari to declare a state of emergency in Borno State over the several killings carried out by Boko Haram.
