According to Reports reaching oyogist.com, president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has signed into law a six-month jail term to violators of any COVID-19 protocol.
The act was signed earlier today, as it read in section 34 of the new that any offence under the regulations is punishable by either a fine or six months jail term.
In
addition to the law, anyone who obstructs an authorised official from enforcement of the regulations commits same.
