Amidst the fight against the Coronavirus and all our struggles as Nigerians, the Nigerian Police force is accused of taking the lives of the people it is meant to protect, OYOgist has learnt.
Social media users @bighead7789 and @OgbaEjike have shared the sad news of how policemen in Ebem Ohafia area of Abia State are “enforcing the stay at home order”.
A young man whose name was not mentioned has become a victim of police brutality in the state, the boy was said to have been offloading a truck when the police officers sighted him and shot him for disobeying the stay-at-home order.
“The shop where he works got a delivery this morning in Ebem Ohafia Abia State and they were offloading the goods, @PoliceNG Saw them and started “implementing lock diwn” they shot and killed this young man, he’s just 18. The whole town is on fire.”
