According to report reaching oyogist.com, The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has warned against the planned protest at Lekki toll gate.

The Police Commissioner disclosed this while addressing newsmen in the state.

“Allowing both groups to carry out their planned protests will be counter-productive. No protest in any guise will be allowed to take place on Saturday 13th February 2021,”he said.

Some End SARS protesters have declared their interest to occupy the Lekki toll gate in Lagos State on Saturday.

The planned protest was announced in a bid to express displeasure over moves to reopen the Lekki toll gate.

This followed permission by the Lagos Judicial Panel of Inquiry to Lekki Concession Company, LCC, that the Lekki toll gate should be reopened.

The toll gate was closed after the October 2020 incident that led to the killings of some End SARS protesters.
