According to report reaching oyogist.com, President Donald Trump has called on his supporters to shun violence and vandalism after he was impeached for a history-making second time by the US House of Representatives on Wednesday.
After the successful impeachment by the Nancy Pelosi led lawmakers, Trump released a video statement calling for calm.
“No true supporter of mine could ever endorse political violence. No true supporter of mine could ever disrespect law enforcement or our great American flag,” Trump said from the Oval Office.
“Now I am asking everyone who has ever believed in our agenda to be thinking of ways to ease tensions, calm tempers and help to promote peace in our country,”
“Efforts to censor, cancel and blacklist our fellow citizens are wrong and they are dangerous,”
“What is needed now is for us to listen one another, not to silence one another.”
