Katsina State Govt Orders Closure Of Boarding Schools Amid Insecurity

Accoding to report reaching oyogist.com, the Katsina State Governor Masari, has reportedly ordered the shutdown of all boarding schools in the state due to the increased insecurity in the state.

The Governor made this known during his visit to the Government Science Secondary School Kankara, where some boarding school children were kidnapped by bandits in the state.

According to reports, the Governor Merry with relevant stakeholders such as school officials, parents, traditional rulers, religious leaders including the security operatives to deliberate the high rate of insecurity in the country and also on how to rescue the kidnapped school children.

Governor Masari urged the parents and also the people of Katsina to have patience as he said his administration was on top of the issue as its doing everything within reach to secure the release of the school children.
