The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 87 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria, which brings the total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 1182, OYOGist.com has learnt.
The new cases were reported in Lagos with 33 cases, 18 in Borno, 12 in Osun, 9 in Katsina, 4 in Kano, 3 in Edo, 3 in Bauchi, and 1 in Imo.
There are now a total of 222 discharged cases and 35 COVID-19 related deaths as of 11:55 PM on the 25th of April, 2020.
The NCDC also reports that one COVID-19 case traveled from Lagos to Ondo state, bringing the total number of cases in Lagos to 698.
