Oyogist has learned that Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide has expressed gratitude to the metropolitan policein US for providing augmented security for him and his daughter after an Instagram user threatened to harm her.
The popular activist in a post on his Instagram page minutes ago further listed out his numerous achievements, stating that at the age of 23, he personally fought abacha and plotted his overthrow.
Going further, he retiraated his previous stance that no one would make them hide or feel insecure.
His post read thus;.
“I thank the Metropolitan Police for providing my family and I with augmented security after the threat to my daughter’s life. We will not be deterred. We will not hide.
“My family and I will go on our daily walks and frequent travels. No coward will make us cow away!At the age of 23, I fought Abacha and plotted his overthrow.
“Tope Fasua, a former Presidential candidate, Shaka Momodu, the editor of ThisDay, and Dan Akpovwa, the publisher of Abuja Inquirer, can bear me witness. If I can withstand Abacha, I can withstand any threats! The day my daughter and I will die has been foreordained by God, and you cannot kill any of us before the day God ordained for us to die.
