Due to the Ongoing Violence in the Tigray Region of Ethiopia involving federal and local forces, Oyogist.com has learnt that several Civilians Living in the tigary region were forced to Evacuate to other regions in the country.
Meanwhile the United Nations Relief Agency revealed in a blog post yesterday that it lacks the available resources to cater for these refugees.
It wrote;“With road closed, food, health and other emergency supplies have currently no way to make it into Tigray making prepositioning or re-stocking impossible”
“Telephone lines remain cut making information flow and corroboration of media reports very difficult for the humanitarian community, as well as to monitor population movement and additional humanitarian needs”, it added.
