US 2020 Presidential opposition candidate, Joe Biden has sent a message of encouragement to his supporters after calling for patience while millions of votes are counted, OYOGist.com has gathered.

Joe Biden was speaking to supporters in Wilmington, Delaware after a strongly contested election with both candidates closely tying.

“We knew this was going to go long,” Biden said, while calling for patience as race will be dragging into Wednesday. “We feel good about where we are. We really do.”

“I’m here to tell you tonight we believe we’re on track to win this election,” Joe Biden said told supporters in Delaware. “I’m optimistic about this outcome.”

Joe Biden is currently leading at the Electoral College, which is what matters in bringing in an American President. A candidate must win 270 votes to be declared the winner.

Joe Biden currently has 238 Electoral College votes to 213 against Donald Trump. However, some critical battleground Republican States may tilt the win in the favor of Donald Trump, OYOGist.com reports.
