UK prime minister Boris Johnson is set to address the nation as he prepares the UK for a second wave of coronavirus. The UK has recorded more than 4,000 new coronavirus cases on Saturday.
The prime minister has revealed that pubs and restaurants would close early and household would be banned from meeting up.
Also a fine of up to £10,000 was fixed on those who refuse to self-isolate. Chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty would address the Nation ahead of the PM. The scientist will outline the consequences of taking no action to curb the spread of the virus.
A residence of the UK said: ‘There’s not much on the cards to look forward to. The next six months are going to be pretty s***.’Mr Johnson will spend today deciding what course of action to take before addressing the country”.
Prime minister, Boris Johnson had previously admitted a second national lockdown would be ‘nothing short of disastrous’ for the UK, but had no other options than to impose it.
