According to report reaching OYOGist.com, some family members of Godwin Obaseki have declared their unalloyed support for the candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC, Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu as governor in the forthcoming Governorship election in Edo State.
Newsmen gathered that the family members were led by Mr. Osaro and Victor Emmanuel Obaseki, they made public their intentions to back Ize Iyamu adding that they will completely campaign for him.
“By and large, the Obasekis have their own way of doing things” . They asserted that the family have diverse branches, “but we are solidly behind our brother, Pastor Ize Iyamu for governor come September 19 Governorship election in Edo State” .
Responding to the endorsement, Ize Iyamu said; “I am indeed, overwhelmed with Joy for the selflessness and doggedness, he said they have even gone ahead to produce beautiful face caps as a symbol of their love and support.”
He added that it takes a brave mind to carry out what they did, they jettison sentiments and family ties to support me, “I assure you that you will not be disappointed, both Edo people in diaspora and at home have equally reaffirmed their unalloyed support for me to become the next governor come September 19.” He concluded.
