President Muhammadu Buhari has addressed Nigerians over the Coronavirus pandemic that has seen much of the country go on a lockdown, OYOGist.com reports.
The President’s media aide, Bashir Ahmed shared a prerecorded video where the President spoke to the nation about the efforts his administration is making to support Nigerians while the Coronavirus pandemic rages.
Recall that several Nigerians have called on Buhari to speak with the country like the leaders of several nations have done.
“We are working with the Federal Ministry of Health on protecting our citizens from COVID-19 virus,” Buhari read from a written script.
“As a government, this is now a key priority for us. I therefore enjoin you to ensure that adequate medical provisions and other welfare requirements are afforded.”
