A fire has burned a section of Nigeria’s former President, H.E Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s family house in Abeokuta on Wednesday, 12 February 2020.
It was gathered that the incident happened in the late of the night but the incident was quickly arrested and further damage was prevented. Only a section of the house was affected.
The said house is located at Ita-Eko in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Sources close to the situation confirmed that the property is actually an old one belonging to the family of the President, and not where he currently lives.

Meanwhile, Chief Aremu, Olusegun Obasanjo was on a trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to partake in the AU meeting when the incident happened.
