According to report reaching oyogist.com, At least 12 US army personnel were among those killed in twin suicide attacks outside Kabul airport.
The twin blasts took place around the outside of the airport at the Abbey Gate and the Barons Hotel where thousands are waiting to be evacuated.
Afghan health officials have told the BBC that at least 60 people had been killed in the blasts with a further 140 wounded.
It came just hours after UK and the US warned citizens to leave the area and seek shelter elsewhere amid fears of terrorist activity in the area.
But thousands of desperate Afghans remained at the airport, hoping to make their way on flights leaving the country and escaping the Taliban.
Under a deal struck between the Taliban and the U.S. government under Donald Trump all foreign personnel were supposed to be safe from attack until 31st August.
