Oyogist.com has learnt that Popular Nigerian Senator, Dino Melaye has urged the Minister of health in Nigeria as well as the Federal government to ensure that whatever COVID-19 Vaccine they’re bringing into the country should be properly examined so as to check it its suitable to handle our own cases of the virus.
The former senator explained that there are different types of Covid-19 vaccine, some ranging from location to location.
He said;
“Nigerianss are not guinea pigs, they should not be used as experiments… I please advice Nigerian government to ensure that a research is conducted and the vaccine has the potency to serve, cure or be used as an immunization for our type of COVID-19…”
He further urged the PTF not to rush in buying a vaccine that will harm innocent Nigerians, but instead, conduct thorough research to gain more knowledge.
