Oyogist.com reports that the United States Senate Judiciary Committee has officially started hearings to look into nominating Judge Amy Coney Barrett into the Supreme Court.
Barret would be the third Supreme court justice to be nominated by President Donald Trump to fill the seat.
The hearing kicked off today as different senators including Republicants and Democrats were seen trading accusations and arguments about her suitability for the position asking how she could be confirmed just weeks before the election.
Judge Amy Coney Barrett, also delivered remarks on Capitol Hill on her first day of confirmation hearings.
