Popular Human activist, Reno Omokri has advised that it is better for your child to be an oversabi than an Undersabi, oyogist reports.
The former presidential aide stated this as he advised parents not to rebuke their children when they ask a lot of questions that they should allow their children to express themselves freely.
“When your child asks a lot of questions and renders opinions on mental things, don’t call him or her I-too-know, oversabi or sabinus. It is better for your child to oversabi, than for them to undersabi. Let your children express themselves without feeling insecure.
“A major reason why our continent is far behind in intellectual pursuits is because we Africans are easily intimidated by knowledge. When we meet a brilliant mind, we often gang up to pick on such a person and label them to the extent that if they do not have confidence they can slip into depression. And when the intimidation becomes so oppressive, he or she becomes ashamed of their intellect, and conforms to society by becoming as dumb as the crowd!”
