Following the death of Osinachi Nwachukwu, Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis Gospel International Gospel Center, Abuja, the church attended by the late singer and her family before her demise has finally spoken.
According to the pastor, he was not aware of any domestic violence until news came out after her death.
In a video shared on his Facebook page, titled: What I know about the passing of Mrs. Osinachi Nwachukwu.
The pastor said, “Over two and half months ago, she came to see me with her husband with complains of chest pains, respiratory stress. I prayed for her and prayed again. And when the symptoms did not abate, I counselled that they should go to the hospital.”
The Pastor in strong terms, said the church condemns any form of domestic violence and added that, if there was domestic violence that coincided with the symptoms she had alerted him over, there is no way he would have let that pass.
He continued, “then i began to ask questions, first i asked the twin sister, were you aware that your sister passed through all these things? she said yes, she knew some of them. but that the majority of them, she was hearing also from those she (the deceased) confided in.
“I asked her, I said if you knew, why didn’t you let us know and the twin sister said, she always begged her ‘please don’t let the church know, don’t tell the Pastor”.
