Oyogist has learned that the United States has promised to provide Ukraine with supplies and equipment in case Russia deploys chemical or biological weapons.
The US government said this would not compromise domestic preparedness for such attacks in any form.
The supplies are currently being provided after warnings that Russia could deploy such weapons in Ukraine and might be planning a “false flag” operation to lay the groundwork.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba while discussing with US secretary of state Antony Blinken suggested steps to strengthen Ukraine economically and militarily so that the country would continue to effectively fight back further Russian attacks”.
Mr Kuleba added that “more hits on Russia’s economy, financial system, and trade are coming”.
Heavy sanctions have been placed on Moscow by the West, including on individuals linked to Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin and Russian businesses.
