Oyogist has learned that popular messaging platform, WhatsApp will be scrapped away from users of 43 different smartphone models.
According to its FAQ section, the Facebook-owned platform will stop working on phones running systems older than Android OS 4.1, Apple’s iOS 10, and KaiOS 2.5.1 from November 1st.
All of these phones will be incompatible with WhatsApp and will not receive any software update from the company.
Meanwhile, in its recent blog post a new function has been introduced by the firm which would allow users migrate their chats from iOS to Samsung Android devices, which the company describes as “one of the most requested features”
