A handful of Nigerians has resorted to the use of Virtual Private Networks (VPN) to enable them login to Popular microblogging platform, Twitter following Buhari’s government suspension, Oyogist reports.

A virtual private network extends a private network across a public network. It enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network.

.By connecting to a secured VPN server, the internet traffic goes into an encrypted tunnel that nobody can see into, including hackers, governments, and your internet service provider. One of the benefits of using a VPN is that it changes your IP address.

y so doing, with a new IP address, you could be able to select any country of your choice and use Twitter as if you’re in your selected country without restriction.
