OYOGist.com has learned that the title of Iya Oloja general of Lagos that was given to the daughter of former Lagos Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been questioned by his political arch enemy, Chief Olabode George.

Chief George, a chieftain of the PDP who appeared on Arise TV’s morning show today said Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, the daughter of the former Lagos Governor did not have a store anywhere in Lagos before she was made the Iya Oloja and he his opened to be challenged about this if he disagrees with him.

Prior to this statement, Chief George, had said at press conference in the aftermath of the end SARS protest that the Iya Oloja title given to Tinubu’s daughter be withdrawn and given to someone that is qualified to own it.

The PDP chieftain said about his daughter, Folashade, “traditionally, those who are appointed as Iya Oloja would have had a track record of training in Lagos, while his daughter who never had a single kiosk in Lagos [was given the title]. Who appointed her? Where was her market? Which market experience does she have?”

He adds that her selection as Iya Oloja was manipulated and if Bola Tinubu thinks he is wrong, he should come out and challenge him.

Commenting on another of Tinubu’s child, Seyi Tinubu, Bode George accused him of controlling the whole advert signages in Lagos. He said it is not justifiable and does not make sense.

He pointed out that some structural heritages that were built by past Lagos leaders like the late Brigadier Mobolaji Johnson have been demolished, abandoned or sold. He accused Seyi Tinubu of converting one of those structures (a shopping complex) that was demolished to keep his private horses.
