According to findings, the Inspector General of Police has received a petition against senator Nwaoboshi on the N2. 552 billion and the IGP has ordered investigation into the matter. Nwaoboshi was however given two weeks to refund the N2.552 billion to the Commission.

Senator Nwaoboshi isn’t alone in this saga as the the heat is also on Dr. Joi Nunieh, NDDC former acting managing director who was given 7 days to refund N1.96 billion.

Reports has it that Nunieh approved a payment of N1.96 billion for lassa fever kits without following the lay down principles and processes.
