Barcelona’s new signing, Miralem Pjanic has expressed profound happiness to be at Barcelona. In his first speech after joining the Catalan giants, Pjanic said “I’m so happy. I’ll give everything for this club. See you soon.”
Pjanic has been courted by Barcelona and they finally got him to their ranks. Pjanic moves to Barcelona in a deal that will see Arthur Melo leave Barcelona to join Juventus.
Though he has signed for Barcelona, the 30-year-old midfielder will wait to the end of the season to join Barcelona for the 2021/2021 season.
Pjanic spent four solid years with Juventus and will spend another four years with Barcelona in a deal worth £60 million.
Pjanic will team up with Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic, Frenkie De Jong and Arturo Vidal in Barcelona’s star-studded midfield. It has been a subject of controversy why Barcelona would sign a midfielder who is already 30, leaving Arthur as the only consistent young player in midfield.
