OYOGist.com has learned that Nigerian Born Human Rights activist and a dedicated fighter for freedom and justice, Senator. Shehu Sani has taken to social media to explain the rationale behind the recent upsurge in the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.
Shehu Sani make this known in a controversial tweet from his Twitter account following the instructions by president Muhammad buhari that totally locked down Kano state due to the recent geometric increase of the coronavirus cases in the state.
The former senator was quoted as saying “the ten Billion given to Lagos government contributes to the astronomical rise of COVID-19 in most states, he argued that, giving it to others will automatically flatten the curve.”
This opinion has generated mixed reactions on Twitter as his followers are divided over this view. While some people shares the same view with the former Senator, others see it as a fallacy.
