OYOGist.com has learned that the President Of United States Of America, Donald Trump while addressing at the James Brady Press Briefing Room of the White House on Thursday says the businesses can be opened again in those states that don’t have the coronavirus outbreak provided they are up to standard set by the White House today,
According to the president, he said “If you look at Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota that’s a lot different than New York, it’s a lot different than New Jersey,” at the coronavirus task force briefing.
If a governor can confirm that after the 14 days of social distancing guidelines given by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention there’s relatively small number of cases which satisfy the new reopening guidelines else the social distancing guidelines should remain in place said the President.
He added “They’ll be in place, dependent on what the governor wants to do,” he said. Subsequently, if the states have reach the 2 weeks mark, they could open tomorrow, said Trump. Then, they can move onto the next “phase” of the new guidelines.
Although, people are advised to wear facemasks in public places including places that didn’t record any cases of Covid-19 virus, until things go back to “normal” said the President.
According to him, it is to protect locals “if someone should come in from an area that isn’t so successful” in mitigating the spread of the virus. Trump said 29 states are “in that ballgame” of being able to consider reopening in the days ahead.
