Photos: Seyi Makinde Inspects newly completed Infectious Disease Center in Oyo State

The Governor of Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde has paid a visit to the Infectious Disease Centre at Olodo, Ibadan, OYOgist.com has gathered.

In attendance at the Governor’s visit were health workers from the Oyo State Ministry of Health, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), the United Nations Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organisation (WHO).

The Governor thanked all the health workers for their efforts in making the centre a reality. He further discussed his personal experience in isolation and what measures are in motion to combat the deadly CoronaVirus.

Gov. Seyi Makinde declares the government’s dedication to ensuring no life is lost during this Pandemic in OYO State. He further enjoined the public that they continue to practice social distancing, washing of hands and “continuous following of expert advice”.
