OYOGist.com learned that the former Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr Reno Omokri has continued to call out deposed Emir of Kano Muhammed Sanusi II.
The dethronement of the Emir drew various reactions in the media, with majority of people sending their goodwill to him after his fall. Alas, Mr Omokri believes the former Emir is an insincere man, who is being punished for his sins against Goodluck Jonathan.
He posted on his Instagram page that though the Emir claims to love the Almajiris and the poor, he has never spent a dime to change their situation. He details some expenses of the deposed Emir that ran into billions, all spent on himself alone.
While Mr. Omokri has claimed the figures he quoted are factual, recall that a widow cried profusely over the dethronement of the Emir because of the help he had rendered to her family.
