The President, Muhammadu Buhari, held as a guest at the Presidential Villa on Monday, the Pastor of Latter Rain Assembly Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare.
Both men had a closed-door meeting at Aso Villa, where the content of their meeting was not revealed to the public or the media.
While it’s not certain, it may border on Bakare’s ambition to occupy the highest seat in the land come 2023. Pastor Tunde has been open and vocal about his desire to become the next president of Nigeria in 2023.
Tunde Bakare was Buhari’s running mate when then-aspirant Buhari ran under the umbrella of the CPC in 2011. Their party lost then, went to court, but failed to convince the court to nullify the election.
