On Wednesday 18 December 2019 – Washington DC, the 45th President of the United States President Donald Trump will know his fate on the ongoing impeachment vote.

The United States House of Representative, led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, is trying to remove President Trump, an elected President of the United States through impeachment on the grounds of abuse of office.

The offenses that the House accused the President of committing are set in two articles of impeachment: obstruction of investigation and abuse of power by putting pressure on Ukraine to dig up dirt on his opponent, Joe Biden.

According to CNN, President Trump was accused of breaking the trust of his country and abusing the powers of his office, thereby breaking the oath of office. In 240 years, if Trump is impeached today (Wednesday 18 December 2019), he will be only the 3rd president to have been impeached.

President Trump tweeted regarding the impeachment vote today early Wednesday morning (US time) saying “Can you believe that I will be impeached today by the Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats, AND I DID NOTHING WRONG! A terrible Thing. Read the Transcripts. This should never happen to another President again. Say a PRAYER!”
