The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Tuesday 10 December 2019, at the state’s State Executive Council(SEC) has announced that his government will honour all court judgments reached on the cases of civil servants that were dismissed or retired.
According to the Makinde, the SEC agreed on three terms, bordering on civil servants and schools. The following are what was agreed on in the SEC meeting.
1. The government is going to honour all judgments reached by the courts on the cases of civil servants that were dismissed or retired
2. Al civil servants that were dismissed or retired without due process and the civil service regulation to be recalled and pardoned.
3. Approval of the sum of fifty-seven million, four hundred thousand nairas (N57,400,000) as intervention fund for classes for Senior Secondary 3 students in public secondary schools.
