According to report reaching oyogist.com, Ukrainian lawmaker, Sviatoslav Yurash, on Thursday morning, insisted that the recent Bucha killings is just the beginning, amid the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.
Yurash said that the world would see much more horror on TV screens in the coming days, insisting that Russians have hit Bucha with everything they have got.
Recall that the discovery of civilian bodies in the Ukrainian town of Bucha prompted international outrage last weekend.
Ukraine said it had recovered the bodies of 410 civilians from the suburban towns of Bucha and Irpin, just outside the country’s capital, Kiev, following the withdrawal of Russian troops.
Ukraine, along with many world powers, said Russian soldiers committed the massacre in Bucha.
But Moscow says it has nothing to do with the killings and has called the images “fake.”
However, speaking on the development, Yurash told CNN’s Jake Tapper: “I think Bucha is just the beginning as we liberate more of our country.
“You will see much more horror on your TV screens. We are seeing the horror in real life. We cannot but state our utter shock at the fact this is possible in our time.”
He added, “This is a town which has no military base, had no brigade, had no airport, and Russians hit it with everything they have got.
“They basically destroyed the buildings with air power. There are still people in the rubble. There are residential buildings they destroyed. There are shells lying around the city, and they basically have shown that this war is about destroying the common people of Ukraine in the Borodianka area like nowhere else.”
