Oyogist has learned that President Joe Biden has insisted that US troops will not engage in conflict with Russia in Ukraine, but would defend its NATO allies.
Biden, in his recent address said “Our forces are not going to Europe to fight in Ukraine, but to defend our NATO allies and reassure those allies in the east.
The United States will defend every inch of Nato territory with the full force of American power.”
According to Biden, NATO is more united than ever before and that there is “no doubt” the US and other NATO countries would meet their treaty commitments.
Meanwhile, thousands of troops have been deployed to NATO countries in eastern Europe that feel threatened by Russia, including Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania in the Baltic, as well as Poland and Romania.
