Amazon founder and CEO, Jeff Bezos has on Tuesday, the 2nd of February, 2021 announced his decision to step down from the position of the company’s CEO, OYOGist.com reports.
In a letter sent to Amazon workers, the billionaire revealed that he’ll be stepping aside from the position to assume duty as the Executive Chair of Amazon.
Below is a copy of the letter Jeff Bezos sent to Amazon staff to communicate his resignation as the CEO of the company.
In his place, Andy Jassy, who currently serves as the head of Amazon Web Services, will resume as the CEO come fall.
