News reaching OYOGist.com revealed that an accident involving a motorcycle, a car and a truck had led to the death of a student in the Apata-Bembo area of Ibadan.
A motorcycle moving at a high speed collided with the door of a car, flinging the three passengers of the motorcycle towards an on-coming truck.
The passengers were three kids: one male, and two female students who attend Queen’s School, Apata.
The truck crushed the head of one of the female students, killing her instantly. All three children are of the same parents, OYOGist.com is told
Both the motorcycle rider and the car driver were said to have all absconded the scene immediately after the accident.
Soon after the incident, a mob had gathered and had launched an attack on the car. The car was pushed into nearby drainage, badly damaged, and was about to be set on fire before the police arrived, averting a riot in the process.
