According to Reports reaching oyogist.com, the Nigerian Government implementation of the Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP) across the country has received a massive boost as President Buhari would approve the distribution and installation of five million solar home systems in underdeveloped communities across the country, by next week.
The ESP program would first start with assembling and manufacturing of components by Local Manufacturing companies in Nigeria, sources revealed.
The Solar Home System plan would ensure that adequate power supply would be provided across the country specifically in communities that are not connected to the national grid.
The Federal Government also noted that with this plan, the social, economic and environmental welfare of 25 million Nigerians would be improved cause more jobs, increasing revenues and import substitution will be generated.
It’s expected that the 25 million Nigerians would pay N4,000 monthly for the solar power system program, oyogist.com further learnt.
