OYOGist.com has learned that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have discovered the first ever indian hemp production laboratory. The laboratory which is located in Lagos State is used for the production of hashish oil. The laboratory is situated at 7 imam Augusto close, Victoria Island, Lagos State. The laboratory is managed by a graduate of the University of Southern Denmark, Oladapo Ifedayo Oluseyi Adebayo. Oladapo Ifedayo runs the Laboratory with his mother, Dr. Jyetter Marie. Dr. Jyetter Marie is of Danish origin.
The laboratory also specializes in the production of cannabis and processing of hashish oil through laboratory extraction. The suspect confessed that he went into production of cannabis and hashish oil production when his solar installation company collapsed in 2019. He claimed that he is Producing those drugs because it is of high demand in the international market because it serves as a curative medicine for cancer.

In the course of the raid of the laboratory by NDLEA official, several drugs and security dogs were found. Some of the drugs found in the laboratory includes, cannabis, ethanol, hashish oil, dried cannabis plant, potassium hydroxide pellets.
Two vehicles which belonged to the suspects were also seized. The Spokesperson of NDLEA, Jonah Achema, confirmed the statement in Abuja. He also confirmed that the agency is working hard to stop the production of illicit drugs in Nigeria. He also confirmed that the laboratory have also been destroyed by NDLEA.
