Michael Solomon was like the hundreds of thousands of kids on the slum-decorated streets of Nigeria that you’d not want to touch with a 10-mile pole. The only difference between him and the rest today is the man he met.
Michael Solomon was known as many things several years ago. He was a street urchin without a definite place of abode, a diligent weed smoker at his early teens, and a reliable troublemaker. His nick-name was Shanawole, and he lived up to that name.
Things changed when the soft-spoken and unassuming man of God, Pastor Tony Rapu took it upon himself to transform his life. Pastor Tony knew the task ahead of him was enormous and any gains were to be made, the effort had to be led by himself. Hence, he paid the young man a visit to his home.
From there, the transformation from a street urchin to a civilized and well-spoken gentleman began.
Fast forward to today (April, 2020) and Micheal Solomon is unrecognizable with distinctively sharp vocabulary and well-talored dress to match, and you’d mistake him for a kid bred and brought up in the oasis of Lekki.
