Oyogist has learned that Lverpool FC has received three nominations in this year’s British LGBT Awards, including a nod for the club’s manager Jürgen Klopp.
Klopp is nominated in the Celebrity Ally of the Year category for his support of the LGBT+ community during the past 12 months.
The club Manager joins other nominees in this category, including Harry Potter icon Daniel Radcliffe and Formula One star Lewis Hamilton.
The prestigious annual awards, will take place in London on June 24, celebrate leading LGBT+ activists, allies and celebrity figures who have worked to advance the rights of LGBT+ people during the past 12 months.
