Oyogist has learned that a teaching assistant who joked about the hormonal/horny” nature of pupils in her class has been jailed after grooming and having sex with a 14-year-old schoolboy.
The 25 year old teacher identified as Fatinah Hossain, 25, allegedly tried to get the victim’s family to drop the charges with threats and bribes, a court heard.
Hossain was later sentenced to five years and four months imprisonment.Hossain, who aspired to work in criminal law and had completed a Masters in Global Criminology at the University of Roehampton, will also be registered as a sex offender indefinitely.
She also threatened the boy and his family using fake names and added she would pay him to “drop the charges”, according to Sussex Police.
