Popular comedian Abovi Ugboma aka Bovi has advised against helping everyone you see, Oyogist.com reports.
According to Bovi via his Instagram story, some people are only seeking ways to equip themselves so they could strike at their unsuspecting benefactors.
The 41-year-old father of three wrote;
“Don’t feed every dog you see suffering. Some just need strength to bite you.”
He further said that when you help people out at first they appreciate it, but with time they mistake the privileges they receive as their right.
“I’m beginning to think entitlement is a spirit. It starts of silence and obedient, grateful and of service! But the spirit rears it’s head when one mistakes their privileges for their rights”, he wrote.
He further concluded with ‘Strangers don’t betray’.
