Actress Amanda Ebeye has said pastors should be accountable to members who pay tithes and offerings to them, Oyogist.com reports.
The actress on her Instagram story told pastors to be more accountable to their congregation on how they spend their tithes and offerings else whatever they buy for themselves will be for them and the congregation.
Here is what she wrote below.
“As long as you are my pastor, I pay you tithe, I pay you offering. You are accountable to me. Don’t tell me the money is for God, God does not come down to spend money. You buy a Ferrari you tell me or it’s for both of us. You buy a private Jet you tell me or it’s for both of us. Don’t use God to deceive people. God sent you to provide service to his people not enrich your pockets”.
