Israel Announces $1.6B Defence Deal With Greece

Israeli Defence Minister, Benny Gantz has announced a whopping $1.6B deal with Greece, the highest deal ever made history as it aims on strengthening the economies of both countries while deepening the defence, economic and political cooperation.

According to the ministry, the agreement was signed on Friday, with Israel represented by the head of the International Defence Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT), retired Brig. Gen. Yair Kulas.

Also, the Israeli Defence Ministry alongside Elbit Systems will oversee the creation of an international flight train centre that will have 10 M-346 training aircraft manufactured by Italian aerospace company Leonardo.
