According to reports reaching Oyogist.com, the US Senate has given a go ahead signal for the impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump as it confirmed the trail as fully constitutional, thus kick-starting proceedings.
Meanwhile Trump’s defence team had insisted that the former President cannot face trial a month after leaving the White House.
A 56-44 majority voted in favour of continuing, the trail, accusing Trump of “inciting insurrection” when the US Capitol was stormed last month.
“That’s a high crime and misdemeanour,” Representative Jamie Raskin of Maryland said of the footage. “If that’s not an impeachable offence, then there’s no such thing.” An eyewitness said
