According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Bayelsa state government has ordered all primary and secondary schools in the state to resume for the 2020/2021 academic session on Monday, January 11.
This was made known by the Bayelsa state Commissioner for Education, Gentle Emelah, who noted that boarding school students should arrive in their schools on Sunday, January 10.
The commissioner noted that the resumption would be followed strictly in line with the laid down Covid-19 guidelines so as to ensure the safety of the resuming students.
She added that the state government was highly concerned of the welfare and safety of all individual and therefore the government would not condone negligence acts to the Covid-19 protocols.
