According to reports reaching Oyogist.com, The World Bank has issued different protective equipments worth £172m to the National Identity Management Commission in order to help combat the spread of Covid-19 during enrollment of people for National Identification Numbers in Nigeria.
According to a statement issued by the Director-General of National Identity Management Commission, several NIMC offices worldwide witnessed huge turnout of people, as its website crashed due to enormous amount of traffic.
The NIMC boss however assured that the website is now very accessible, while thanking the World Bank for supplying them with protective equipments to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
