Oyogist.com has learnt that the Federal Government of Nigeria has imposed new covid-19 guidelines to mitigate the seemingly increasing number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in various parts of the country.
Chairman of the PTF on Covid-19, Boss Mustapha made this known today during the PTF briefing in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The new restrictions would lead to the closure of all bars, nightclubs, pubs and event centres, recreational venues in all states across the country.
Also, all festival events including weddings, conferences, congresses, office parties, concerts, seminars, sporting activities, end of year events, would contain not less than 50 people.
Religious gatherings were limited to less than 50 per cent of the capacity of the facility as wearing of fask masks and physical distancing would be highly enforced.
