According to Reports reaching Oyogist.com, Scientists in Thailand has spotted a 39-foot-long Whale skeleton near a coast in Bangkok.
The whale was discovered to have some features of the Bryde’s whales, with wounds from fishing equipment and tourism.
Scientistss have further said that it would carbon date the skeleton’s remains in December, and look for more insights.
“There are few whale subfossils in Asia, and are relatively large sea level changes around 6,000 years to 3,000 years ago in the Gulf of Thailand, where the shoreline was up to tens of kilometres inland of the present coast.” Marcus Chua of the National University of Singapore said.
