According to reports reaching Oyogist.com, more than 600 people have died from the novel coronavirus in 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19, making this the highest daily since 5 May.
Government officials said there were a total of 18,213 confirmed cases on Wednesday bringing the total number of cases in the UK to 1,557,007.
Meanwhile data from the UK health ministry Confirms that as of now, a total of 72,000 people have died from Covid-19 in the country.
More Health officials have raised concern that easing coronavirus restrictions over Christmas might lead to a third wave of the pandemic.
